This list highlights the top 15 kitchen remodelers in Milwaukee. This time our team considered general contractors and kitchen remodeling specialists that do exceptional work in the $40k–150k budget range. That range still covers a wide variety of builders, from those that use more economic materials to those that offer custom millwork and cabinetry to firms that install high-end kitchen appliances.

Each of the listed contractors was ranked after considering their experience, press attention, awards, and demonstrated versatility in kitchen design. Whether you need a simple cabinet update or a complete kitchen overhaul, there’s a contractor on this list for you.

Masha Wagner brings over 35 years of experience in the residential plumbing and remodeling industry to Design Tech Remodeling, a firm she started to serve the Milwaukee area in 1997. Winner of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Regional Contractor of the Year Award in the Residential Interior $250,001 to $500,000 category, this update to an 1852 home and 1920s addition in Slinger included remodeling the first-floor bath, adding a new laundry room, and transforming the basement into an entertaining space for family and guests. Design Tech worked through the structural challenges to bring a rustic farm charm to the home while maintaining the original family legacy. The gray wood stairs descend onto a matching saloon-style bar that provides a lot of eat-in space. Underneath it is more room to store a wide wine selection. The lounge area is oriented around a TV mounted on the side of the staircase. The brown walls continue in the powder room, complemented by the marble vanity countertop. A new bedroom was also added to this floor.

The firm removed many of the interior walls, revealing previously concealed stunning views. Design Group Three also updated its cabinetry, added a Walker Zanger backsplash, and Sub Zero-Wolf appliances, all while maintaining the integrity of the home’s barn-inspired theme. The beautiful kitchen is now the perfect place to prepare a meal, enjoy a glass of wine, and take in a panoramic view of Wisconsin’s gorgeous landscape.
