Georgia is a state rich in premium kitchen remodelers. Many of the kitchen remodelers in this list are industry veterans, winning awards like Contractor of the Year and distinctions from magazine titles like Atlanta Home Improvement. Most are also members of established remodeler groups like the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA).
Admittedly, kitchen remodeling in an area like Georgia can be expensive due to its cost of living. However, remodelers on this list are willing to work with clients and their budget, so that a quality project can still be attained. These firms have all been evaluated on their portfolios, craftsmanship, and customer service, as well as accolades and associations.
15) Hodge Design & Remodeling

At 20 years old, Hodge Design & Remodeling is a NARI remodeler and a NARI Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler. Small Carpenters at Large (SCAL), a design/build residential remodeling company, has been renovating homes throughout intown Atlanta since 1980. SCAL has won an impressive number of awards since its establishment. Among the prestigious awards the firm has received is Contractor of the Year from the NARI Atlanta. Specializing in the renovation of older homes, Renewal Design Build was founded by Peter Michelson in 2001. His brother, David, joined the business in 2004 and became the President. The siblings are fourth generation contractors. Renewal Design Build has won many Chrysalis Awards, including the 2013 Kitchen Remodel in the $50,000-$75,000 (National Co-Winner) and $75,000-$100,000 categories. It also won the Best Kitchen awards from 2009 to 2012.
Renewal has built many impressive modern kitchens in various styles, from modern craftsman to loft kitchen. The winner of the Southeast Regional CotY Award for Best Residential Kitchens, for example, is a modern craftsman model in Decatur. Renewal has made the room more spacious without adding footprint.
