An interior design firm that works on both commercial and residential projects, Studio M is an award-winning firm known for its elegant interiors for coastal-inspired homes. The firm’s most notable work might be the Fernandina Beach residence. The project focuses on the clean minimalism of modernism. A combination of smooth, textured large format porcelain limestone was used on the interior walls and continued from the exterior into the spine of the home. This same limestone was also used as flooring. The residence has many notable features; its most notable feature is the smart LED lighting throughout the home with different colors and temperatures, all controlled by an app on the client’s phone. After working with ThinkGlass, the firm came up with a three-inch thick custom bar top that has an iPad-controlled LED light system.
