The firm built the Laserfiche creative office campus on Long Beach Boulevard. For the project, the team drew inspiration from Edward Killingsworth’s Mid-Century Modern designs. 

The office design for Laserfiche features enhanced daylight access, increased ventilation, and high-performance air filters.  The availability of indoor and outdoor restoration spaces helps create a healthy work environment. A high-performance VRF system supports LEED Gold Certification. 

Founding Principal Alan Pullman, AIA has over 20 years of experience in mixed-use, urban infill, and adaptive reuse projects. He received his education from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Syracuse University. 

Senior Principal and Design Director Michael Bohn, AIA has more than 30 years of experience in architecture, urban, and landscape design. He received his education and training from Les Ecoles d’Art Américaines de Fontainebleau and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

President and CEO Brad Williams, AIA has been with the firm for over 22 years. Brad is the recipient of the 2012 APA LA Public Outreach Award for Virgil Village Traffic Calming Plan and the 2012 Compass Blueprint Excellence Award for Visionary Planning for Sustainability on 4th + Linden.  He received his education from Woodbury University. 

RDC won the 2018 Lumen West Merit Award in the Interior Lighting Design category for the RDC Urban Workplace. The firm was founded in 1979.

MSP Architects

This full-service architectural firm specializes in the design of educational and institutional facilities in the Long Beach area. Since its founding in 1994, MSP Architects has completed projects valued from $10,000 to $ 20 million in construction costs. Aside from programming and design development, they also assist clients with construction documents, bidding, and construction administration. 

Their projects include the renovation and additions to the Lacoe Education Center West Building. The firm added a new conference room, lobby, and auxiliary rooms to enhance the building’s functionality. Ample lighting and new carpeting add a contemporary touch to the interiors. 

MSP was founded by partners Reed McDonald, Edgar Paz, and Michael Soutar, who provide hands-on supervision to all projects thanks to over 70 years of combined experience. 

President Michael Soutar, AIA has over 30 years of experience providing design and project management services to high-profile clients including the Navy Corps of Engineers, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and AT&T.
