Our annual ranking of top construction firms highlights the top companies in Davis based on their project volume over the past year, with a focus on relevance. This compilation is derived from permit and contractor information sourced from city, county, and state building departments through our partners at BuildZoom. For further information regarding data accuracy, please consult the note at the end of this article.

Construction data provides numerous benefits for different stakeholders within the industry. Suppliers of materials and services can use construction market data to track key project milestones and identify when contractors are likely to need new resources, allowing them to time their outreach for maximum impact. By analyzing trends in building construction and contractor business patterns, they can focus on contractors showing signs of growth. Subcontractors, too, can leverage this data to connect with general contractors for potential projects. At the same time, real estate developers, property owners, and others seeking contractors can validate a contractor’s qualifications by reviewing their construction history and verifying their contractor licenses, ensuring they hire professionals with the right experience.
